Instead of believing that the currently trending spirit dolls could grant wishes, I rather believe in writing as an effective prayer. Whenever I put what I want into writing, I more likely achieve it.
You see, after I had moved from Surabaya to Bandung, I read a very, very old blog of mine, which I had completely forgotten about. Apparently, I had written in it my resolutions. One of them was moving from Surabaya to Bandung!
So, as I continue wishing to achieve good things in my life, here are my top ten 2022 resolutions:
Going full-time freelance
For the past 3 months, I have worked less than 10 hours a week, dealing with 1 or 2 projects at a time. Now I want to go full steam ahead.
Being a Top Rated Plus on Upwork
It means I need to secure $10,000 earning in 12 months, an excellent job success score, and at least one huge project. Fingers crossed.
Learning video editing and the basics of graphic design
I’m not sure why I’m interested in these, but Skillshare to the rescue!
Buying a small house
For millennials like myself and my husband, buying a house might be an impossible dream, but I still want to give it a go.
I used to work for a company until 3 years ago when I was pregnant and then became a stay-at-home mom without any income. Now I have my own income, I must pay taxes.
Applying for BPJS
I have got Allianz and Manulife and still think they are not sufficient for my family.
Playing more with Juno
I’m still learning to be a good mom. I feel awkward playing with my own son. It has to change this year.
Hanging a family picture
I have always wanted a nice family picture taken by a professional, but I’m too lazy with the hassle of doing makeup and preparing the wardrobe. It has to change this year.
Losing 10 kilograms
I’m a bit obese, so this is a must-have resolution.
Having a healthier lifestyle
It includes 8 hours of sleep, proper meal times, and exercise.
